Randel Huston Parton, known professionally as Randy Parton was an American singer-songwriter, actor, and businessman. Parton was the first person to record the song “Roll On (Eighteen Wheeler)” in 1982. Randy Parton, a singer, and songwriter who was the younger brother to Dolly Parton has died. The 67-year-old is most recently remembered for his duet on Dolly Parton’s Christmas album from 2020. She shared that “You Are My Christmas” was actually his final song.

Parton was survived by his wife Deb Parton, and  Children Heidi Lou, Sabyn Mayfield, and Siblings.

Cause of death

Randy Parton, a country singer and younger brother to Dolly Parton, has died at age 67. Parton died of cancer, according to a Facebook post-Thursday from his sister. “The family and I are grieving his loss but we know he is in a better place than we are at this time,” Dolly Parton shared on social media.
