Joseph Michael “Dusty” Hill, the bassist of the rock band ZZ Top was an American Musician. Dusty who was a jack of all trade sang, lead, and backing vocals also played keyboards. The ZZ top bassist died at the age of 72 on July 27, 2021. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of ZZ Top in 2004.
He was survived by his wife, the actress Charleen McCrory, whom he married in 2002, and a daughter, Charity Hill from his previous relationship.
