Stuart Damon was an American actor. He was best known for his 30-year portrayal of Dr. Alan Quartermaine in the American soap opera General Hospital, for which he won an Emmy Award in 1999. Outside the United States, he was better known for the role of Craig Stirling in The Champions.

Stuart Damon was survived by his wife Deirdre Ann Ottewill and his Children, Christopher Zonis and Jennifer Zonis

Cause of death

Damon died of kidney failure on June 29, 2021, at the Motion Picture & Television Fund retirement community in Los Angeles, where he had lived for seven years.
